Carl B. Arlanson, Esq.

Managing Director
Carl Arlanson's focus of practice is life and estate planning, trust administration, estate settlement, and real estate and business or corporate law as component parts of estate planning. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Federal Bars and is a graduate of Brown University and the Boston University School of Law. Among his other related experiences, Carl served as a Judge Advocate in the U. S. Air Force. With more than 40 years of experience, Mr. Arlanson has assisted hundreds of individuals and families with lifetime and estate planning, estate settlement, real estate matters, and business issues. Although he primarily serves clients in Southeastern Massachusetts, he has helped clients throughout Massachusetts. Organizations he has participated in or positions he has held are: National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Land Court Title Examiner, Legal Counsel to South Shore Habitat for Humanity, Board of Directors, Hanover Chamber of Commerce, Phoenix Masonic Lodge, Hanover American Legion Former Trustee, United Church of Christ, Norwell, MA, Mass. Continuing Legal Education Sponsor and many others. Mr. Arlanson's interests include spending time with his family which now includes several grandchildren, fishing and clamming, attending Cape Cod Baseball League games, and travel to the National Parks.

Cheryl Arlanson Russo, Esq.

Cheryl Arlanson Russo practices estate planning, probate and estate settlement, real estate and business entity formation. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a graduate of Tufts University and a cum laude graduate Suffolk University Law School. Ms. Russo is also an alumna of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Arlanson Law Offices, Ms. Russo served as in-house legal counsel at Woolf Associates, a sports management and marketing agency in Boston, Massachusetts, where she advised internal staff and athlete-clients on matters relating to Contract Law, Corporate Matters, Real Estate and Estate Planning. Ms. Russo earlier served as a law clerk for Corrigan, Johnson, & Tutor, P.A., Boston, Massachusetts and spent a year working in the Massachusetts State Senate, Office of the Senate Clerk as an Assistant to the Clerk of the Senate. An active member of the local community, Ms. Russo presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hingham Women's Club and in the past has served on the Alumnae Board of Directors for Notre Dame Academy and the Board of Directors for the South Shore Women’s Business Network. When not working with clients, Ms. Russo enjoys spending time with her young family, volunteering in the community, playing tennis, and gardening.

Caroline Karle MacKenzie, Esq.

Caroline Karle MacKenzie practices estate planning, probate and estate settlement, real estate, and business entity formation. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a magna cum laude graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Ms. MacKenzie earlier served as an intern in the Research Ventures and Licensing Group at Partners HealthCare where she drafted and edited intellectual property agreements, communicating with Partners’ Principal Investigators and with external scientific businesses. Originally from Hingham, Ms. MacKenzie is involved in the South Shore community as co-President of the the Hingham Women's Club. Ms. MacKenzie is passionate about getting to know individuals and families in her community, helping them plan for the future by evaluating and utilizing appropriate estate planning opportunities. Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and young children, traveling, and taking advantage of the outdoors, whether it's skiing, hiking, gardening, or spending time at the beach.
